Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
50. And to ‘Aad, We sent their brother Hud [56]. He said, "O my people! Worship Allah alone; you have no deity other than Him. You are merely fabricating lies [57]."
[56] The account of the people of 'Ad has already been mentioned in Surah Al-A'raf, verses 65 to 72, so those footnotes should also be kept in mind. [57] That is, regarding your deities, the beliefs you have fabricated yourselves have no evidence to support them. Besides the beliefs, the idols of these deities are also your own inventions.
