Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

He said, "I will take refuge on a mountain that will protect me from the water." Noah said, "Today there is no protector from Allah's punishment except for the one upon whom He has mercy." Then a wave came between them, and he was among the drowned. [49]

The Son’s Reply:

The stubborn son, rejecting his father’s wish, said, “I will climb up the mountain right now and save myself.” He did not even imagine that the water would rise so high that it would engulf even that mountain. Nuhؑ said to him, “Son, what delusion are you in? This is not an ordinary flood, but the punishment of Allah, and what is the reality of the mountain? Nothing today can save anyone from Allah’s punishment except that Allah Himself shows mercy to someone and saves him.” This conversation had not even finished when a fierce and violent wave rose, turning towards the son, and separated the two of them from each other forever. And this disbelieving and disobedient son drowned in the flood before the eyes of Sayyiduna Nuhؑ, and even a Messenger of great resolve like Sayyiduna Nuhؑ could not help him in any way.
