Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

41. Noah said, "Embark in it [47]; its sailing and its anchoring are by the name of Allah. Surely, my Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful."

The Supplication for Boarding the Ark:

Noah ؑ said to his companions that, taking the name of Allah, board this ark; do not worry, for its sailing and stopping are all by Allah’s permission and by the blessing of His name. There is no fear of drowning because my Lord is the One who forgives the shortcomings of the believers and is very merciful to them. Surely, by His grace and mercy, He will bring us safely to shore. Incidentally, a few things are understood from this verse. One is that a believer should not rely solely on means, but should also keep praying to Allah for His grace and mercy, because the reins of all means are in His hands. Secondly, when boarding a boat or ship, this supplication should be recited:
﴿بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ مَجْرٖيهَا وَمُرْسيٰهَا ۭ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ لَغَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
