Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

120. And We relate to you every account of the messengers so that by it We may strengthen your heart. And in these accounts, the truth has come to you, and an admonition and reminder for the believers.

Three Benefits of Repeated Mention of the Prophets:

Allah Almighty has mentioned three benefits of repeatedly narrating the stories of the Prophets. First, that the difficulties you and your noble companions ؓ are facing, similar situations were faced by all previous Prophets and those who believed in them. In the end, Allah crushed the opponents and saved and granted success to the Prophets and the believers. Therefore, you ﷺ should act with patience and keep your resolve firm. Second, that you and your followers may receive the accurate accounts of the previous Prophets, of which you had no prior knowledge. Third, that in the stories of these people there are many lessons for all of you, namely, what ultimately happens to those who disobey Allah and what happens to those who obey.
