Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
67. He is the One Who made the night for you so that you may rest in it, and the day bright so that you may work. Surely, in this are signs for those [81] who listen (to the truth).
[81] That is, there are countless proofs for accepting Allah as the Absolute Sovereign, one of which is that He created the night and the day. By reflecting on this one sign, countless more signs can be found that indicate Allah is the Absolute Sovereign, the All-Powerful, and the Omnipotent Being. There are such solid facts for considering Him alone as the fulfiller of needs and remover of difficulties, as well as for calling upon Him and worshipping Him alone. But what proof do those who call upon or worship others besides Allah have, by which it can be established that they have any share, authority, or control in this universe? Therefore, all such people have merely relied on conjecture and have fabricated speculative philosophies, which have no solid or scholarly foundation beneath them.
