Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy [72], in that let them rejoice. It is better than what they accumulate.
[72] The Quran is Better Than Wealth and Riches:
Therefore, inform the people that this is the utmost grace of Allah and His perfect mercy that He has revealed to you a Book with such virtues. Thus, you should rejoice at the revelation of such a Book, and acquiring the knowledge of this Book is a thousand times better than the wealth and riches for which these people are making desperate efforts to accumulate. For wealth and riches are like a fleeting shadow and are things that will perish, whereas the Book of Allah shows the path to such blessings that are everlasting and will never perish, such as noble character, righteous deeds, and the eternal blessings of Paradise, etc.
