سُوْرَةُ يُوْنُسَ
Surah Yunus (10) — Ayah 4
إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا ۖ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ ﴿4﴾

To Him is the return of all of you. The Promise of Allâh is true. It is He Who begins the creation and then will repeat it, that He may reward with justice those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of boiling fluids and painful torment because they used to disbelieve.

4. To Him you will all return. This is Allah’s true promise. He originates creation and then will repeat it [6], so that He may justly reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. But those who disbelieve will have boiling water to drink and a painful punishment, as a recompense for their persistent denial of the truth.
The Purpose of the Hereafter:
The first argument was related to Allah being the Owner and Sovereign, and this second argument pertains to the resurrection and gathering of the second life. The argument is that the Allah who created you the first time can surely create you again after death; in fact, recreating you is even easier for Him than the first creation. The purpose of resurrecting you is so that whoever believed and did good deeds in this transient world may be rewarded for it, and those who chose the path of disbelief may be recompensed for it. This is because in this world, it is neither necessary that a person is rewarded for his faith, nor is the life of this world long enough for the full recompense of deeds to be given. Therefore, the establishment of the second life is inevitable.
