Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
38. Do they say, "He has fabricated this Qur'an himself?" Say, "Then bring forth a single surah like it [54], and call upon whomever you can besides Allah, if you are truthful."
[54] In response to this objection of the polytheists of Makkah, the Quran has, at numerous places, issued a challenge that if, according to your belief, Muhammad ﷺ has fabricated the Quran himself, then you too should try your strength and, in this matter, gather your helpers with you. But when, despite their utmost efforts, they were unable to produce such speech, they were warned of Hell. The reason for this is that from the miraculous nature of the Quran, three things are self-evident: ➊ Proof of the existence of Allah Almighty ➋ Proof that the Quran is from Allah ➌ Proof of the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ. Now, if someone still does not believe and remains stubborn, obstinate, or prejudiced, what punishment can there be for him except Hell?
