سُوْرَةُ الْقَدْرِ
Surah Al-Qadr (97) — Ayah 4
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ﴿4﴾

Therein descend the angels and the Rûh [Jibrîl (Gabrîl)] by Allâh’s Permission with all Decrees,

(Ayah 4) ➊ By {تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ وَ الرُّوْحُ فِيْهَا …:’’ الرُّوْحُ ‘‘} is meant Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him. Allah Almighty said: « نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوْحُ الْاَمِيْنُ » [الشعراء : ۱۹۳] "This Qur'an has been brought down by the trustworthy spirit." Despite being included among the angels, due to his honor, he was mentioned separately, just as in this verse of Surah Al-Baqarah, after mentioning the angels, due to his honor, he was specifically mentioned separately: « مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّلّٰهِ وَ مَلٰٓىِٕكَتِهٖ وَ رُسُلِهٖ وَ جِبْرِيْلَ وَ مِيْكٰىلَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَدُوٌّ لِّلْكٰفِرِيْنَ» [البقرۃ : ۹۸] "Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Jibreel and Mikael, then indeed Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers."
➋ That is, the angels and Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him, by the command of Allah Almighty, descend to the earth with whatever has been decided regarding every matter for the coming year.
