فَأَمَّا fa-ammā Then as for
مَنْ man (him) who

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 5 to 7) { فَاَمَّا مَنْ اَعْطٰى … : ’’اَلْحُسْنٰي‘‘ ’’أَحْسَنُ‘‘} is the feminine of 'Ahsan'. Allah Almighty said: « وَ مَنْ اَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِّمَّنْ دَعَاۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَّ قَالَ اِنَّنِيْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ» [ حٰمٓ السجدۃ : ۳۳ ] "And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteous deeds and says, 'Indeed, I am of the Muslims'?" Whoever possesses these three comprehensive qualities of goodness—that he is generous in spending in the way of Allah, fears Allah and avoids His disobedience and every forbidden act, and accepts the best statement, that is, the oneness of Allah and believes in everything He has revealed and becomes obedient to it—then according to this inclination and tendency of his, We will also make the path of goodness and Paradise easy for him, meaning that doing good will become easy for him and committing sin will become difficult.
