Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
The باء on {يَصْلَوْنَهَايَوْمَالدِّيْنِ … : ’’ بِغَآىِٕبِيْنَ ‘‘} is for emphasis of negation, therefore the translation is "never to be absent." The wicked people will enter Hell on the Day of Resurrection and will remain in it forever; they will never come out of it. It can also mean that although they will enter Hell on the Day of Resurrection, even before that, in the grave, they are not absent from the Fire, as has been said about the people of Pharaoh: « وَحَاقَبِاٰلِفِرْعَوْنَسُوْٓءُالْعَذَابِ (45) اَلنَّارُيُعْرَضُوْنَعَلَيْهَاغُدُوًّاوَّعَشِيًّاوَيَوْمَتَقُوْمُالسَّاعَةُاَدْخِلُوْۤااٰلَفِرْعَوْنَاَشَدَّالْعَذَابِ »[ المؤمن : ۴۵، ۴۶ ] "And the people of Pharaoh were encompassed by the worst punishment, which is the Fire. They are presented to it morning and evening, and on the Day the Hour will be established (it will be said): 'Admit the people of Pharaoh to the severest punishment.'"
