Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 7){ وَاِذَاالنُّفُوْسُزُوِّجَتْ :} "And when the souls are joined," there are two interpretations of this: The first is that the souls will be joined with the bodies. From here, the conditions after the second blowing (of the trumpet) are described, so all will be resurrected. The second is that the souls will be grouped into categories: the righteous with the righteous and the sinners with the sinners, as Allah Almighty has said: «اُحْشُرُواالَّذِيْنَظَلَمُوْاوَاَزْوَاجَهُمْوَمَاكَانُوْايَعْبُدُوْنَ »[ الصافات : ۲۲ ] "Gather those who did wrong and their kinds and those whom they used to worship." The second interpretation was stated by Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). [ دیکھیے بخاري، التفسیر، باب : «إذا الشمس کورت» ، بعد ح : ۴۹۳۷ ]
