سُوْرَةُ النَّبَاِ
Surah An-Naba (78) — Ayah 8
وَخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًا ﴿8﴾

And We have created you in pairs (male and female, tall and short, good and bad, etc.).

(Ayah 8){ وَ خَلَقْنٰكُمْ اَزْوَاجًا :} Look at your own selves, We created you as male and female, in different colors, countless forms and appearances. When you were created the first time, your intellect was not astonished, so why is it astonished at being created again? {’’ اَزْوَاجًا ‘‘ ’’زَوْجٌ‘‘} is the plural of {’’ اَزْوَاجًا ‘‘ ’’زَوْجٌ‘‘}.
