عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا ﴿6﴾
A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allâh will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly.
عَيْنًۭا ʿaynan A spring
يَشْرَبُ yashrabu will drink
بِهَا bihā from it
عِبَادُ ʿibādu (the) slaves
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (of) Allah
يُفَجِّرُونَهَا yufajjirūnahā causing it to gush forth
تَفْجِيرًۭا tafjīran abundantly

(Ayah 6) {عَيْنًا يَّشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللّٰهِ … : ’’ عِبَادُ اللّٰهِ ‘‘} Although all people are servants of Allah, here it refers to Allah’s special servants, just as in {’’عِبَادُ الرَّحْمٰنِ‘‘} (servants of the Most Merciful), {’’نَاقَةُ اللّٰهِ‘‘} (Allah’s she-camel), and {’’بَيْتُ اللّٰهِ‘‘} (Allah’s House), a special distinction is made. That is, the special servants of Allah, the righteous, will drink a cup of wine mixed with camphor, and it will not be just a single cup, but rather a spring mixed with camphor from which the believer may divert a channel from it wherever he wishes.

Some commentators have considered {’’ الْاَبْرَارَ ‘‘} and {’’ عِبَادُ اللّٰهِ ‘‘} as separate and have interpreted it to mean that the cup of wine given to the righteous, i.e., the pious people, will have some mixture from a spring called camphor, just as a fragrant syrup, for example, Rooh Afza, is mixed into someone’s drink. Whereas “Ibadullah,” i.e., the close servants of Allah, will not only have a mixture from the spring of camphor but will receive its pure water as much as they wish.
