إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا ﴿27﴾
Verily, these (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard).
إِنَّ inna Indeed
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ hāulāi these
يُحِبُّونَ yuḥibbūna love
ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ l-ʿājilata the immediate
وَيَذَرُونَ wayadharūna and leave
وَرَآءَهُمْ warāahum behind them
يَوْمًۭا yawman a Day
ثَقِيلًۭا thaqīlan grave

(Ayah 27){ اِنَّ هٰۤؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّوْنَ الْعَاجِلَةَ … :} In this verse, the real reason for the disbelief and wickedness of the disbelievers and sinners has been stated: the reason they do not accept admonition is their love of the world. Since the world is something that comes quickly to hand, they desire only this, and are heedless of the grave Day of Resurrection. In fact, they do not even believe with certainty that it will come, and think that when they have decayed and decomposed after death, who will bring them back to life? The answer to this follows.
