Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

{وَ يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِاٰنِيَةٍ …: ’’آنِيَةٌ‘‘ ’’إِنَاءٌ‘‘} is the plural of {’’إِنَاءٌ‘‘}, on the pattern of {’’أَفْعِلَةٌ‘‘}, and {’’ اَكْوَابٍ ‘‘ ’’كُوْبٌ‘‘} is the plural of {’’كُوْبٌ‘‘}, a vessel which has neither a spout nor a handle, a drinking cup. That is, in their gathering, there will be circulated such cups and drinking vessels of silver which will be of glass, such glass that is made from silver. Such vessels do not exist anywhere in the world, because even if the silver of the world is beaten as thin as a mosquito's wing, it still cannot be as transparent as glass. This type of vessel will only be in Paradise, which will be as white as silver and as transparent as glass. {’’ قَدَّرُوْهَا تَقْدِيْرًا ‘‘} means that they will be made exactly according to the needs of the drinkers, neither less nor more.
