فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْمًا يَجْعَلُ ٱلْوِلْدَٰنَ شِيبًا ﴿17﴾
Then how can you avoid the punishment, if you disbelieve, on a Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) that will make the children grey-headed?
فَكَيْفَ fakayfa Then how
تَتَّقُونَ tattaqūna will you guard yourselves
إِن in if
كَفَرْتُمْ kafartum you disbelieve
يَوْمًۭا yawman a Day
يَجْعَلُ yajʿalu (that) will make
ٱلْوِلْدَٰنَ l-wil'dāna the children
شِيبًا shīban gray-haired
