Surah Al-Ma'aarij (70) — Ayah 44

خَـٰشِعَةً أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ ﴿44﴾
With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!
خَـٰشِعَةً khāshiʿatan Humbled
أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ abṣāruhum their eyesights
تَرْهَقُهُمْ tarhaquhum will cover them
ذِلَّةٌۭ ۚ dhillatun humiliation
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika That
ٱلْيَوْمُ l-yawmu (is) the Day
ٱلَّذِى alladhī which
كَانُوا۟ kānū they were
يُوعَدُونَ yūʿadūna promised
