سُوْرَةُ الْاَعْرَافِ
Surah Al-A'raaf (7) — Ayah 48
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالًا يَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿48﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And the men on Al-A‘râf (the wall) will call unto the men whom they would recognise by their marks, saying: "Of what benefit to you were your great numbers (and hoards of wealth), and your arrogance (against Faith)?"

(Ayah 48) ➊ { يَعْرِفُوْنَهُمْ بِسِيْمٰىهُمْ:} that these are the people of Hell, or those whom they used to recognize in the world.
➋ { مَاۤ اَغْنٰى عَنْكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ:} The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, a person from among the people of the Fire who was the most prosperous in the world will be brought, then he will be dipped once in the Fire, then it will be said: 'O son of Adam! Did you ever see any comfort?' He will say: 'No, by Allah, O my Lord!'" [ مسلم، صفات المنافقین واحکامہم، باب صبغ أنعم أہل الدنیا فی النار…… : ۲۸۰۷ ]
