سُوْرَةُ الْاَعْرَافِ
Surah Al-A'raaf (7) — Ayah 47
۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ﴿47﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And when their eyes will be turned towards the dwellers of the Fire, they will say: "Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)."

(Ayah 47) ➊ {وَ اِذَا صُرِفَتْ اَبْصَارُهُمْ: ’’ صُرِفَتْ ‘‘} is a passive verb form, which indicates that the people of A'raf will look towards the people of Paradise with longing and desire and will greet them with peace, but they will not even like to raise their eyes towards the people of Hell; rather, their eyes will be turned towards them so that they may realize the value of well-being.
