Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Do they not reflect? There is no madness in their companion (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). He is but a plain warner.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 184) {اَوَلَمْيَتَفَكَّرُوْامَابِصَاحِبِهِمْمِّنْجِنَّةٍ......:} In the previous verses, there was a warning regarding their heedlessness and indifference; now from here, their doubts about prophethood are being refuted. The disbelievers of Quraysh used to call you insane (mad), see Surah Al-Hijr (6) and Ad-Dukhan (13, 14). Allah Almighty has given two answers to this in this verse: one is, have you ever thought that the Prophet (peace be upon him) has not come from somewhere else, he is your companion, he lives among you, you know him very well, he has spent forty years among you, just think, are madmen like this? The phrase {’’ صَاحِبُكُمْ ‘‘} (your companion) gives this very answer. See Surah Yunus (16). The second is, have these people ever thought that among the things the Prophet (peace be upon him) commands, such as monotheism, prayer, charity, maintaining family ties, chastity, and truthfulness, which of these things is madness, or in his habits and characteristics, what is there that can be called madness? You are merely an open warner about Allah Almighty and His punishment. [See Surah Saba 46] [ديكهيے سورهٔ سبا ۴۶]
