Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

:} That is why the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taught to seek refuge from Satan and all other calamities from all directions. Thus, Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite these words every morning and evening and never omitted them: I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah! I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah! Conceal my faults and grant me security from my fears. O Allah! Protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being suddenly seized from beneath me."

{وَ لَا تَجِدُ اَكْثَرَهُمْ شٰكِرِيْنَ:} Iblis did not have knowledge of the unseen; he made this claim merely on conjecture, but the wrongdoer actually made his conjecture come true, as is mentioned in Surah Saba (20).
