قَالَ إِن كُنتَ جِئْتَ بِـَٔايَةٍ فَأْتِ بِهَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ﴿106﴾
[Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)] said: "If you have come with a sign, show it forth, if you are one of those who tell the truth."
قَالَ qāla He said
إِن in If

جِئْتَ ji'ta come
بِـَٔايَةٍۢ biāyatin with a Sign
فَأْتِ fati then bring
بِهَآ bihā it

(Ayah 106) {قَالَ اِنْ كُنْتَ جِئْتَ بِاٰيَةٍ … :} Pharaoh was fully aware of the nobility and integrity of Musa (peace be upon him), as well as his truthfulness and trustworthiness, because he had been raised in his own house. However, he demanded a miracle to acknowledge his prophethood and truthfulness, so that he could find an excuse to deny.
