Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 19) {فَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيْنِهٖ … : ’’ هَآؤُمُ ‘‘} is a verbal noun (ism fi'l); Ibn Atiyyah said: "Its meaning is, 'Come!'" Zamakhshari said: {’’ هَآؤُمُ ‘‘} is a sound by which {’’خُذْ‘‘}, meaning "Here, take it," is understood. (Al-Tashil) {’’ كِتَابِيَهْ ‘‘} is originally {’’كِتَابِيْ‘‘}; in it, {’’ہْ‘‘} is for pause, not a pronoun, just as it is in {’’ مَاهِيَهْ ‘‘}. (See Al-Qari'ah: 10) It is the same in {’’ حِسَابِيَهْ ‘‘، ’’ مَالِيَهْ ‘‘} and {’’ سُلْطٰنِيَهْ ‘‘}. The meaning is that the person who will receive the record of deeds in his right hand will be so happy that he will call others to show it, just as in the world, when a person receives great happiness, he calls out to others to share in it.
