Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
At some places in the Noble Qur’an, the events occurring at the time of the first blowing of the trumpet are mentioned, at some places those of the second blowing, and at some places they are mentioned together. In these verses as well, the conditions from the first blowing up to after the second blowing are described: the breaking apart of the earth and mountains is from the time of the first blowing, and the splitting of the sky, the angels being at its edges, the Throne of Allah being carried by eight angels, Allah Almighty descending to the field of resurrection, and all servants being presented for reckoning— all of this is after the second blowing.
