سُوْرَةُ الْقَلَمِ
Surah Al-Qalam (68) — Ayah 44
فَذَرْنِى وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَـٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ ۖ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿44﴾

Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Qur’ân. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not.

(Ayah 45,44) {فَذَرْنِيْ وَ مَنْ يُّكَذِّبُ بِهٰذَا الْحَدِيْثِ … :} That is, if there is a delay in punishing the deniers, do not worry, leave them to Us, then We will deal with them. {’’ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ ‘‘} We will gradually lead them towards destruction, that is, We will continue to give them age, health, and other blessings, they will increase in disbelief instead of gratitude, and eventually they will reach Hell. If blessings increase despite disbelief and transgression, then this is istidraj from Allah and His secret plan. See Surah Al-Mu’minun (56), Al-An’am (44), and Al-A’raf (183).
