(Ayah 12){ وَ مَرْيَمَ ابْنَتَ عِمْرٰنَ الَّتِيْۤ اَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا … :} That is, Allah Almighty has presented the wife of Pharaoh, Asiyah, and Maryam bint Imran as examples for the believers, stating that both were of the highest level of faith. The name of Maryam bint Imran appears not only at this place in the Noble Qur’an but in several places, and she is the only woman whom Allah Almighty has mentioned by name in the Qur’an. The explanation of most of the words in this verse has already been given in the commentary of Surah Al-Anbiya (91) and the explanation of other words has been mentioned in the commentary of various verses.
