Surah Al-An'aam (6) — Ayah 49

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ ﴿49﴾
But those who reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), the torment will touch them for their disbelief (and for their belying the Message of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). [Tafsir Al-Qurtubî].
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna And those who
كَذَّبُوا۟ kadhabū denied
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا biāyātinā [in] Our Verses
يَمَسُّهُمُ yamassuhumu will touch them
ٱلْعَذَابُ l-ʿadhābu the punishment
بِمَا bimā for what
كَانُوا۟ kānū they used to
يَفْسُقُونَ yafsuqūna defiantly disobey
