سُوْرَةُ الْاَنْعَامِ
Surah Al-An'aam (6) — Ayah 150
قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَـٰذَا ۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ ﴿150﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Say: "Bring forward your witnesses, who can testify that Allâh has forbidden this. Then if they testify, testify not you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with them. And you should not follow the vain desires of such as treat Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter, and they hold others as equal (in worship) with their Lord."

(Ayah 150) ➊ {فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ:} Because whoever gives this testimony can never be truthful.
➋ {وَ هُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُوْنَ:} That is, they commit the great injustice of shirk by equating creation with the Lord, in whatever way they equate, even though no one can ever be equal to the Lord Almighty—not in essence, not in attributes, not in knowledge, not in rights and authority, nor in anything else. So then, why would you follow the desires of such ignorant people? See Surah Ra’d (16) and Surah Shu’ara (91–98).
