سُوْرَةُ الْاَنْعَامِ
Surah Al-An'aam (6) — Ayah 135
قُلْ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّى عَامِلٌ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ﴿135﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "O my people! Work according to your way, surely, I too am working (in my way), and you will come to know for which of us will be the (happy) end in the Hereafter. Certainly the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) will not be successful."

(Ayah 135) ➊ { قُلْ يٰقَوْمِ اعْمَلُوْا عَلٰى مَكَانَتِكُمْ:} This does not mean that you are permitted to do whatever you wish; rather, it is meant as a rebuke, just as someone says, "Fine, keep doing whatever you are doing, I will deal with you soon."
➋ {مَنْ تَكُوْنُ لَهٗ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ:} Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Allah Almighty fulfilled His promise to His Messenger and granted him control over all the lands; the opponents were left at his mercy, Makkah was conquered, and all of this happened during his lifetime. After his passing, lands from the east to the west were conquered. In the Hereafter, the outcome will be even better than this. See Surah Al-Mu’min (51, 52).
➌ { اِنَّهٗ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ:} "Indeed" is the translation of { ”اِنَّ“ }, and "the reality is" is the translation of the pronoun of state { ”هٗ“}.
