سُوْرَةُ الْاَنْعَامِ
Surah Al-An'aam (6) — Ayah 112
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَـٰطِينَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ يُوحِى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ ٱلْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ ﴿112﴾

And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayâtîn (devils) among mankind and jinn, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it; so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafsîr Qurtubi)

(Ayah 112) ➊ {وَ كَذٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا ……: } That is, just as the devils from among jinn and mankind are showing enmity towards you, this is not only your situation, but in the same way, We made devils from among jinn and mankind enemies for all the previous prophets as well, so you do not need to be anxious; rather, just as the previous prophets showed patience and steadfastness in the face of their wicked enemies, you too should be patient over their harm, and do not let despair and anxiety find a way into yourself.
➋ {يُوْحِيْ بَعْضُهُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍ …… :} The meaning of "wahy" is to inform in a hidden manner, that is, those humans and jinn who are devils, secretly teach their own simple-minded people various adorned and embellished tricks and schemes to deceive. {’’ غُرُوْرًا ‘‘} is the maf‘ul lahu, meaning "for the purpose of deceiving."
➌ {وَ لَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوْهُ:} But since He wants to give them a full opportunity for trial in order to complete the argument, and to forcibly prevent someone from disobedience is against His wisdom and system of creation, therefore He is giving them respite.
➍ {فَذَرْهُمْ وَ مَا يَفْتَرُوْنَ:} That is, do not care about them, leave them and their fabrications to Allah, He Himself will deal with them.
