Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 110) {وَنُقَلِّبُاَفْـِٕدَتَهُمْوَاَبْصَارَهُمْ …:} That is, when they did not believe after seeing miracles before, how will they believe now? The person who, after the truth becomes clear, stubbornly rejects it once, then continues to reject it persistently. Because of this evil deed, the divine enablement (Tawfiq) to believe is taken away from him in the future. See Surah Yunus (74) and Surah Anfal (24). Shah Abdul Qadir (may Allah have mercy on him) writes: That is, those whom Allah guides, they accept the truth with justice as soon as they hear it for the first time, and the person who has already resolved out of stubbornness that he will not accept, even after seeing a miracle, he makes some excuse, for example, Pharaoh saw many miracles but did not believe.
