Yet, they join the jinn as partners in worship with Allâh, though He has created them (the jinn); and they attribute falsely without knowledge sons and daughters to Him. Be He Glorified and Exalted above all that (evil) they attribute to Him.
وَجَعَلُوا۟ wajaʿalū And they make
لِلَّهِ lillahi with Allah
شُرَكَآءَ shurakāa partners
ٱلْجِنَّ l-jina jinn
وَخَلَقَهُمْ ۖ wakhalaqahum though He has created them
وَخَرَقُوا۟ wakharaqū and they falsely attribute
لَهُۥ lahu to Him
بَنِينَ banīna sons
وَبَنَـٰتٍۭ wabanātin and daughters
بِغَيْرِ bighayri without
عِلْمٍۢ ۚ ʿil'min knowledge
سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ sub'ḥānahu Glorified is He
وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ wataʿālā and Exalted
عَمَّا ʿammā above what
يَصِفُونَ yaṣifūna they attribute

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 100) {وَ جَعَلُوْا لِلّٰهِ شُرَكَآءَ الْجِنَّ …:} In the above verses, Allah Almighty has presented five proofs from the heavens, the earth, and what is between them for His being the true deity. Now it is stated that some people still associate the jinn with Allah, even though He alone created them as well. Then, if making the creation a partner of the Creator is not sheer ignorance, then what is it? (Razi)
There were also some sects in Arabia who worshipped jinn and evil devils, and in times of distress, they would call upon their names and believed in their influence over the universe. All of these are refuted in this verse, that without understanding, they made the jinn partners of Allah and fabricated sons and daughters for Him. Thus, the polytheists of Arabia used to call the angels the daughters of Allah Almighty. It is said that Allah Almighty is pure from these fabricated statements. Some of the Salaf said that this verse was revealed about those heretics and Magians who considered Allah Almighty to be the Creator of humans, animals, and every good thing and called Him "Yazdan," and considered Satan (Iblis) to be the creator of beasts, snakes, and every kind of evil and called him "Ahriman," and made both of them partners with Allah in the creation of the universe, even though the Creator of them and everything is Allah Almighty alone. Therefore, the people of knowledge have declared the Magians to be Zanadiqah (utterly irreligious). Imam Razi writes that among the aforementioned explanations of the verse under discussion, this is the best explanation.
