Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 6) ➊ {يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللّٰهُ جَمِيْعًا …:} This is connected to the last sentence of the previous verse {’’ وَ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ‘‘}, meaning that for these disbelievers, there will also be a humiliating punishment on the Day when Allah will gather them all together, then He will inform them of what they used to do, so that they may be prepared to face its consequences.

{ اَحْصٰىهُ اللّٰهُ وَ نَسُوْهُ :} This is the answer to the question that even if, after thousands or millions of years, all people are brought back to life, whatever they did would have passed ages ago, so how will Allah inform them of the countless deeds of countless creatures? It is said that although they have surely forgotten what they did, Allah has preserved all of it. See also the commentary of Surah Al-Kahf (18:49).

{ وَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيْدٌ:} Because nothing can be hidden from Allah, He is observing everything. (See Al-Ma'idah: 117; An-Najm: 17) The next verse further emphasizes this.
