Surah Al-Hadid (57) — Ayah 6

يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿6﴾
He merges night into day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added into the hours of the day), and merges day into night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added into the hours of the night), and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts.
يُولِجُ yūliju He merges
ٱلَّيْلَ al-layla the night
فِى into
ٱلنَّهَارِ l-nahāri the day
وَيُولِجُ wayūliju and He merges
ٱلنَّهَارَ l-nahāra the day
فِى into
ٱلَّيْلِ ۚ al-layli the night
وَهُوَ wahuwa and He
عَلِيمٌۢ ʿalīmun (is) All-Knower
بِذَاتِ bidhāti of what is in the breasts
ٱلصُّدُورِ l-ṣudūri of what is in the breasts
