Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 57) ➊ {نَحْنُخَلَقْنٰكُمْ:} After mentioning the division of people into three groups on the Day of Resurrection and the reward and punishment of all three groups, from here until verse (74), the arguments presented are for both the Hereafter and Tawheed, because the polytheists denied both. These arguments are not merely imaginary or philosophical matters, but are real and actual things that a person feels within himself and sees with his own eyes. Among them is the mention of his own creation, the mention of the crops which he himself cultivates, the mention of the water which he drinks, and the mention of the fire from which he derives countless benefits.
➋ { فَلَوْلَاتُصَدِّقُوْنَ:} That is, you know that We alone created you, no one else is a partner in this, then why do you not accept that worship is also only Our right, and why do you not believe as true that just as We created you the first time, in the same way We will create you again?
