Surah Al-Waaqia (56) — Ayah 47

وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ ﴿47﴾
And they used to say: "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be resurrected?
وَكَانُوا۟ wakānū And they used (to)
يَقُولُونَ yaqūlūna say
أَئِذَا a-idhā When
مِتْنَا mit'nā we die
وَكُنَّا wakunnā and become
تُرَابًۭا turāban dust
وَعِظَـٰمًا waʿiẓāman and bones
أَءِنَّا a-innā will we
لَمَبْعُوثُونَ lamabʿūthūna surely be resurrected
