Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 72) ➊ {’’ حُوْرٌ ‘‘ ’’حَوْرَاء‘‘} is the plural of {’’ حُوْرٌ ‘‘ ’’حَوْرَاء‘‘}, its root is {’’حَوَرٌ‘‘}, "fair-skinned women" whose sight leaves the eyes astonished and whose eye whites are very white and the black very black. [ دیکھیے بخاري : الجھاد والسیر، باب الحور العین و صفتھن، قبل ح: ۲۱۷۵]
➋ In the word {مَقْصُوْرٰتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ:} in {’’ حُوْرٌ ‘‘}, their physical beauty is described, and in {’’ مَقْصُوْرٰتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ ‘‘}, their character beauty is described. It is understood that a woman's virtue is in staying at home. In these words, there is also an indication that these women have every kind of prosperity and blessing, because in the world, noble women do not have to go outside the home for anyone's service, work, or in the fields, not even for socializing; rather, other women come to them. The meaning is that they are very honored and served, as Abu Qais bin Al-Aslat has said:
{وَيُكْرِمُهَا جَارَاتُهَا فَيَزُرْنَهَا ¤ وَ تَعْتَلُّ عَنْ إِتْيَانِهُنَّ فَتُعْذَرُ}
"Her neighbors honor her, so they themselves come to meet her, and if she makes any excuse for not going to them, it is accepted." [ التحریر و التنویر ]
{فِي الْخِيَامِ: ’’ الْخِيَامِ ‘‘ ’’خَيْمَةٌ‘‘} is the plural of {فِي الْخِيَامِ: ’’ الْخِيَامِ ‘‘ ’’خَيْمَةٌ‘‘}, which is usually made from wool or hair cloth. Then, the more prosperous the people, the more valuable, higher, and grander it is made. The description of the tents of Paradise has been given by the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Abdullah bin Qais (Abu Musa Ash'ari) (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: [ إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْمَةً مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ عَرْضُهَا سِتُّوْنَ مِيْلاً فِيْ كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ مِّنْهَا أَهْلٌ مَا يَرَوْنَ الْآخَرِيْنَ يَطُوْفُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ] [ بخاري، التفسیر، باب: «حور مقصورات في الخیام » : ۴۸۷۹ ] "In Paradise, there is a tent made of a hollow pearl, its width is sixty miles, in every corner there are family members who do not see each other, and the believers will go around to them."
