Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 41) ➊ {يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِيْمٰهُمْ …:’’اَلنَّوَاصِيْ‘‘ ’’ نَاصِيَةٌ ‘‘} is the plural of {يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِيْمٰهُمْ …:’’اَلنَّوَاصِيْ‘‘ ’’ نَاصِيَةٌ ‘‘}, the hair of the forehead. (See Hud: 56) That is, their faces will be blackened, as He said: « يَّوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوْهٌ وَّ تَسْوَدُّ وُجُوْهٌ » [ آل عمران : ۱۰۶ ] "On the Day when some faces will be white and some faces will be black." Their eyes will be blue, as He said: «وَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ زُرْقًا» [ طٰہٰ : ۱۰۲ ] "And We will gather the criminals that Day, blue-eyed." And the record of deeds will be held in the left hand behind the back. See Surah Inshiqaq (10) and Surah Haqqah (25).

{ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِيْ وَ الْاَقْدَامِ:} That is, every criminal will be seized by the hair of the forehead and the feet and thrown into Hell.
