سُوْرَةُ الْقَمَرِ
Surah Al-Qamar (54) — Ayah 12
وَفَجَّرْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَٱلْتَقَى ٱلْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ ﴿12﴾

And We caused springs to gush forth from the earth. So the waters (of the heaven and the earth) met for a matter predestined.

(Ayah 12) ➊ {وَ فَجَّرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُيُوْنًا:} That is, We split the earth with water in such a way that it all became springs.
➋ { فَالْتَقَى الْمَآءُ عَلٰۤى اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ:} That is, the water of the earth and the sky became one, for the task that had been decreed. The meaning is the destruction of the people of Noah.
