فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ ﴿29﴾
Therefore, remind (mankind of Islâmic Monotheism, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). By the Grace of Allâh, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman.
فَذَكِّرْ fadhakkir Therefore remind
فَمَآ famā for not
أَنتَ anta you
بِنِعْمَتِ biniʿ'mati (are) by (the) grace
رَبِّكَ rabbika (of) your Lord
بِكَاهِنٍۢ bikāhinin a soothsayer
وَلَا walā and not
مَجْنُونٍ majnūnin a madman

(Ayah 29) ➊ {فَذَكِّرْ فَمَاۤ اَنْتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَّ لَا مَجْنُوْنٍ:} "Kahin" is that person who maintains relations with devils and, after listening to them, gives news of the unseen, in which there is sometimes a true report that they have stolen from the mutual conversation of angels beneath the sky, then they mix a hundred lies with it and tell their friends.

➋ After mentioning in detail and with proofs about the Day of Judgment, reward and punishment, and Paradise and Hell from the beginning of the Surah, it is said: {’’ فَذَكِّرْ ‘‘} (So admonish), meaning that when We have informed you of all this through revelation, now your responsibility is to admonish all people with it and not to care about the absurd talk and accusations of the disbelievers and polytheists. Whether they call you a kahin or insane, by the grace of Allah, you are neither a kahin nor insane in any way. There is absolutely nothing of soothsaying or madness found in you. In {’’ فَمَاۤ اَنْتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ ‘‘}, after {’’مَا ‘‘} (the negative), the "ba" is for emphasis of negation, and the tanween on {’’ بِكَاهِنٍ ‘‘} is for indefiniteness, therefore it is translated as "By the grace of your Lord, you are by no means in any way a kahin nor any kind of madman."
