Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 25) {وَاَقْبَلَبَعْضُهُمْعَلٰىبَعْضٍيَّتَسَآءَلُوْنَ:} That is, the people of Paradise, rejoicing in the blessings mentioned above, will ask one another. Each of them will be both a questioner and a responder, saying, “Tell us, what did you experience in the world?” Then, how did you manage to reach Paradise, avoiding its hardships and trials? From this, it is understood that they will remember all past events; thus, while mentioning their own condition, they will say so. In this mutual questioning and answering, the conversation of their fathers and their children will also be included, who will be together at one level. So, out of happiness, they will ask each other about past circumstances and also about the present state, saying, “How did Allah Almighty bestow such a great favor upon sinners like us that He admitted us into Paradise, and despite the shortcomings in the deeds of some of us, He gathered us all together?”
