Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The meaning of {وَ ذَكِّرْ فَاِنَّ الذِّكْرٰى تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ: ’’ذَكَّرَ يُذَكِّرُ تَذْكِرَةً‘‘} is both admonition and reminder. That is, turning away from the rebellious does not mean that you should stop reminding and admonishing them; rather, you should continue to remind and admonish them, because admonition benefits the believers. And since you do not know who will believe and who will be deprived of it, you should continue to admonish everyone, good and bad, agreeable and disagreeable, in search of those fortunate souls who will accept faith. Ultimately, those whose nature has not been corrupted will benefit from this admonition, as it is said: «سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَّخْشٰى (10) وَ يَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْاَشْقَى » [ الأعلٰی : ۱۰،۱۱ ] "Soon the one who fears will receive admonition, and the most wretched will avoid it."
