Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 6,5) ➊ {اِنَّمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ لَصَادِقٌ … :} Here, {’’ اِنَّمَا ‘‘} is not a compound word which is a word of exclusivity and means "none except," rather in it, {’’إِنَّ‘‘} is a separate particle of emphasis and {’’مَا ‘‘} is separate, which is a relative pronoun and means "that which." In the time of the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), the script was not fully standardized, so they wrote both together, and later the Ummah took such tremendous care in preserving the Qur'an that the way the Companions wrote any word, it was kept exactly the same in the script of the Qur'an.

➋ That is, the winds possessing all four of these attributes bear witness that the promise made to you regarding being resurrected and coming forth from the graves to be presented before Allah is certainly true, and the recompense for every deed will undoubtedly and surely occur. Allah Almighty has made the indication of these winds towards the resurrection of the dead very clear in another verse, He said: «وَ هُوَ الَّذِيْ يُرْسِلُ الرِّيٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهٖ حَتّٰۤى اِذَاۤ اَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقْنٰهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَاَنْزَلْنَا بِهِ الْمَآءَ فَاَخْرَجْنَا بِهٖ مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ كَذٰلِكَ نُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتٰى لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ » [ الأعراف : ۵۷ ] "And He it is Who sends the winds as glad tidings before His mercy, until, when they carry a heavy cloud, We drive it to a dead land, then We send down water from it, then We bring forth thereby every kind of fruit. Thus We will bring forth the dead, so that you may take heed." The Qur'an has repeatedly mentioned the reviving of dead land with rain as evidence for the resurrection of the dead on the Day of Judgment, for example, see Surah Fatir (9) and Surah Rum (48 to 50).
