فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴿27﴾
And placed it before them, (saying): "Will you not eat?"
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ faqarrabahu And he placed it near
إِلَيْهِمْ ilayhim [to] them
قَالَ qāla he said
أَلَا alā Will not
تَأْكُلُونَ takulūna you eat

(Ayah 27) {فَقَرَّبَهٗۤ اِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ اَلَا تَاْكُلُوْنَ:} From this it is understood that it is also among the etiquettes of hospitality that, as much as possible, instead of making the guests go to the food, it should be presented to them in their service, and also that if they hesitate to eat, they should be requested to eat in a polite manner.
