Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 44) ➊ {يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْاَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا: ’’ سِرَاعًا ‘‘ ’’سَرِيْعٌ‘‘} is the plural of {’’ يَوْمَ ‘‘ ’’ وَ اِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيْرُ ‘‘}, and "يَوْمَ" is the adverbial phrase (zarf) for "وَ اِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيْرُ", meaning, "To Us alone is the return on the Day when the earth will split open from them and they will come out of it, rushing forth quickly."
{ ذٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيْرٌ:} This is the answer to the disbelievers' statement: "When we have died and become dust, will we really be raised up alive at that time?" They say this is far from reason and impossible. Allah says that this resurrection—gathering all the former and later generations of mankind with a single call—is very easy for Us.
