Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 6) {وَيُدْخِلُهُمُالْجَنَّةَعَرَّفَهَالَهُمْ:} That is, Allah Almighty will admit them to that Paradise whose recognition He has made very clear through the verses of the Quran and through the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). In verse (15) of this Surah, some identification of it is also mentioned. When they enter that Paradise, it will not be unfamiliar to them, rather it will be exactly according to the promise and identification that Allah Almighty has already made known to them. {’’ عَرَّفَهَالَهُمْ ‘‘} This also includes the point that no inhabitant of Paradise will need to ask anyone for the way to their home in Paradise. Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: [ يَخْلُصُالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَمِنَالنَّارِ،فَيُحْبَسُوْنَعَلٰیقَنْطَرَةٍبَيْنَالْجَنَّةِوَالنَّارِ،فَيُقَصُّلِبَعْضِهِمْمِّنْبَعْضٍمَظَالِمُكَانَتْبَيْنَهُمْفِيالدُّنْيَا،حَتّٰیإِذَاهُذِّبُوْاوَنُقُّوْاأُذِنَلَهُمْفِيْدُخُوْلِالْجَنَّةِ،فَوَالَّذِيْنَفْسُمُحَمَّدٍبِيَدِهِ! لَأَحَدُهُمْأَهْدٰیبِمَنْزِلِهِفِیالْجَنَّةِمِنْهُبِمَنْزِلِهِكَانَفِيالدُّنْيَا ][بخاری، الرقاق، باب القصاص یوم القیامۃ:۶۵۳۵ ] "When the believers will be saved from the Fire, they will be stopped at a bridge between Paradise and Hell, then they will be have retribution exacted for the wrongs they did to each other in the world, until when they are thoroughly purified, they will be permitted to enter Paradise. So, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Each of them will know the way to his home in Paradise better than he knew the way to his home in the world."
