Then, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy. That will be the evident success.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 30) ➊ {فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ:} Here, the mention of glad tidings is stated first, because this adds even more joy to the glad tidings. Righteous deeds refer to those actions that are done purely for Allah Almighty, free from every kind of shirk, even ostentation, and are in accordance with the Sunnah. See also the last verse of Surah Al-Kahf.

{ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِيْ رَحْمَتِهٖ:} Their Lord will admit them into His mercy. In the word {’’ رَبُّهُمْ ‘‘}, there is an expression of His relationship and love for them, and by "His mercy" here is meant Paradise. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ قَالَ اللّٰهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالٰی لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِيْ أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِيْ وَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ عَذَابٌ أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِيْ ] [بخاري، التفسیر، باب قولہ : « و تقول ھل من مزید» : ۴۸۵۰ ] "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said to Paradise: You are My mercy; I will show mercy through you to whomever I wish among My servants. And He said to the Fire: You are merely punishment; I will punish through you whomever I wish among My servants."

{ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِيْنُ:} As He said: « فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَ اُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَ مَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَاۤ اِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُوْرِ » [ آل عمران : ۱۸۵ ] "So whoever is kept away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. And the life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion."
