سُوْرَةُ الدُّخَانِ
Surah Ad-Dukhaan (44) — Ayah 54
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ ﴿54﴾

So (it will be). And We shall marry them to Hûr (fair female) with wide, lovely eyes.

(Ayah 54) ➊ {كَذٰلِكَ: ’’أَيْ اَلْأَمْرُ كَذٰلِكَ‘‘} or {’’ يَكُوْنُ كَذٰلِكَ‘‘} means it will certainly be so; there is no question of it not happening.
➋ { وَ زَوَّجْنٰهُمْ بِحُوْرٍ عِيْنٍ:’’ حُوْرٌ ‘‘ ’’حَوْرَاءُ‘‘} is the plural, referring to a very fair woman whose eyes are intensely black and the whites are extremely white, such that one is left astonished upon seeing her. Some have interpreted it as a black-eyed woman whose eyes have very little white. {’’ عِيْنٍ ‘‘ ’’عَيْنَاءُ‘‘} is the plural, meaning a woman with large eyes.
