Surah Az-Zukhruf (43) — Ayah 75
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ ﴿75﴾

(The torment) will not be lightened for them, and they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair therein.

(Ayah 75) ➊ { لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ: ’’فُتُوْرٌ‘‘} To have a pause or halt in something, or for its strength or speed to gradually decrease, as it is said: {’’فَتَرَتِ الْحُمّٰي‘‘} "There was a decrease or pause in the fever." {’’ لَا يُفَتَّرُ ‘‘} (in the form of Bab Taf'il) means that no kind of pause or decrease will be allowed in their punishment.
➋ { وَ هُمْ فِيْهِ مُبْلِسُوْنَ:} Even the hope of deliverance from affliction brings some comfort; by saying this, even the hope was negated, that they will remain in that Hell, disappointed and hopeless.
